BEST TIME TO SELL

This is a question I get asked a lot, there are various answers to it and it’s not simply just about the time of year. For example if you place your home on the market at any time, if it is in a very desirable location or it is a desirable property and at the correct price then it will sell anytime of the year!. Certainly for you avid Spring home sellers this is by far the most popular time of the year, as the generally feel is that my garden is looking better and the kerb side appeal is far better than other times of the year plus there is a strong buzz in the air with activity levels of property.

The question is this when there is more activity in the market, a lot more homes out there for people to buy which equals more competition for your home to sell in the market – do you think you will really get the best price in a market like that?.. In short my advice is as long as you sell and buy in the same market place you should be fine, however if you aren’t looking to buy onwards then maybe the  Spring time of the year is not the best time to achieve the absolute best price.
